Ethanol Distillers’ Corn Oil, DCO is a transparent, light reddish- orange coloured liquid that displays the general physical characteristics of common corn oils. The odor of distillers’ corn oil is free from any rancid, musty, or other off odors. The corn oil is clear and free of suspended matter.
Preferably in a clean sanitary tank protected from weather temperature extremes. Storage system flowability issues may require a heat source, either externally or internally. Typical liquid feed handling equipment should be adequate for feed mills and on-farm applications to engage in the transferring and agitation of the product. IGPC produces 30 MT of DCO per day which means the product is held for a relatively short time in storage onsite, ensuring a fresh product is delivered to customers.
Distillers’ Corn Oil is a concentrated source of energy, which is highly digestible. Distillers’ Corn Oil provides essential fatty acids and is a good source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Distillers’ Corn Oil is used to increase energy density (2.25 times more energy than ground corn) in complete feed rations, mainly swine and poultry. Consult your nutritionist and/or veterinarian to ensure the proper balance and levels of required nutrients in the animal’s complete ration.
